Dear Birthmother,
Hi! We are Will and Tina and we would like to thank you for taking the time to read about us. We feel honored that you would consider us to love and raise your child. It is our hope that you get to know a little about who we are individually, as a couple and as a family.
About Us
We both met in high school where we fell in love. We married after two years of dating and after one year of marriage we decided that we wanted to start a family. When we had difficulty conceiving, we quickly decided to adopt. We adopted our beautiful baby boy and we have loved being parents since. We are so excited for our newest little addition to join us!
We are a close-knit family who enjoy spending time together. We make sure to connect with each other during dinner by sharing our thoughts about whatever is going on in our lives. As a family, we enjoy having family night every Saturday where we do dinner and a movie or go bowling with some friends. During the summer we enjoy barbeques, going to water parks, traveling and vacationing to Disney World.
About Tina
My wife Tina enjoys reading, scrapbooking, shopping and decorating anything. She will even decorate a trash can if you ask her to. She is a great mother to our son Joshua and is strong enough to "hold the fort down" while I am deployed. She values our family and sees parenting as her most important job. She has a heart for kids and devotes most of her time as a stay at home mom to Joshua.
About Will
My husband Will is the most loving and generous man you can meet. He is a great husband and an even a better father. I admire his strength and his patience. He is hardworking and easy going. He loves to make people laugh so there is never a dull moment when he's around! He enjoys football, basketball and teaching our son new things. He has a job as a highly skilled sonar technician on a submarine in the Navy. Will takes pride in serving our country.
About Joshua
Joshua, our nine year old son, is our pride and joy! He is such a compassionate and caring little boy. He is just like his dad in so many ways, especially in wanting to make others laugh. Some of his favorite things to do are play Uno (he enjoys beating us!), play football with dad, help mom in the kitchen, dance, and listen to music. His absolute favorite thing of all time is video games. He is so excited about becoming a big brother that he has already started picking out toys he wants the new baby to have. We are eternally grateful to Joshua’s birthmom for making our dream of parenting come true.
Our Faith
We are a family of Christian faith and attend church regularly. We want our children to grow up knowing about our loving God and know how special they are. We want them to learn his teachings so that they will know Him and grow up having a personal relationship with Christ.
Our Home
We live in a culturally diverse neighborhood in Southern Virginia. Our home is a three bedroom townhouse with a fenced in back yard and a play area. There is also a pool and a beautiful lake just down the road. We just love the schools that are a few blocks away. There are also some great parks in our area where we sometimes have family picnics during the spring and summer.
Our Families
On holidays, there is always a full house with lots of food, fun laughter and good times. Both of our extended families live a couple hours away so on weekends we often travel to visit them. Our parents are so loving and supportive and are ecstatic about having a new grandbaby! Your baby will be adored by everyone in our families including aunts, uncles, cousins and three sets of great-grandparents.
In Closing
We will go above and beyond to love, support, nurture your baby and make sure that all of her needs are met. We will be proud to tell her of the special way we came to be a family. If you are willing to, we would love to share letters, pictures and visits with you. If you would like to talk to us please contact Lifetime Adoption at 1-800-923-6784.
