David, Jennifer, and baby Jacob visiting Lifetime We are still amazed at the fact that Jacob's birthparents had already named him Jacob, the name that we had already picked out for a boy! The moment we saw him at the hospital we immediately fell in love with him, and as everyone at Lifetime would say, we got the baby that God meant just for us! We now realize that things don't always happen in our time, but in God's time.

We have now had Jacob three months and time has just flew by so fast! We have been in touch with Jacob's birthparents through e-mail. We can't even begin to thank the entire staff at Lifetime for all that you do for all of us adoptive families. May God bless everyone for all the work you do and for bringing all the babies/children into their forever and "Lifetime" homes. Bye for now... Jacob has the most beautiful blue eyes and is now laughing...

A note from Jacob...

Good Morning Everyone! I just can't wait to meet everyone...I have been waiting a long time to meet all of you...I was born on May 9th at 1:03 am. I arrived a little early, but I sure surprised my new Mommy and Daddy with the good news on Wednesday morning that I had arrived and was waiting for my first car ride home.

I was 2 weeks old when they got to see me for the first time. I was born at 18 inches long and 5 pounds, 15 ounces. I now weigh 6 pounds, 6 ounces. They got to the hospital around 12:15 pm yesterday, and the rest of the day was very busy and almost a blur. Mom, dad and I left the hospital for my first ride at about 6:10 pm and we were all exhausted. We are on our way this morning to meet my Grandma and Grandpa.They are just so excited and can't wait until I get there.

I have been eating every three hours and I am a very good eater (must take after my daddy). I woke up very hungry this morning and can empty my bottle at lightning speed! I have been wide-eyed this morning, much more than yesterday and I think I'm going to like the world past the hospital room! I will keep you posted with my updates, time for a nap again!
