A Lifetime of Joy (Cont.)

Our birthmother was simply amazing! We will NEVER forget her and I had the luxury of bonding with her and I will always feel a special connection with her for the rest of my life; she was truly a Godsend to Davy and I as we thought the gift of parenthood would never come true for us.

For all the waiting families on the website I want you to know that YOUR TIME will come and we know how difficult the wait can be and seeing other families get "matched" quickly or the wait taking too long; we have been there! We want to provide words of encouragement to always pray without ceasing and ask God to grant the desires of your heart. We prayed every single day and asked God to make every day the day that we would be matched and that our process would be a smooth adoption process and we would bond and connect with our birthmother.

When we became diligent and began seeking the Lord daily, we got the call in a short time and our birthmother was more special to us that we could have ever dreamed possible! So we encourage waiting adoptive parents to hang in there and your day will come! We wish every family luck and are praying for each of you that your wait will be short, yet your miracle will be a lifetime of joy.

Thank you to the Lifetime staff for your words of encouragement when the days and nights would get long in the waiting process. We could not have made it without your kind words, emails and cards. Looking at our daughter, the wait was well worth it! She is simply our life! Again, thank you all for being who you are and allowing God to work through each of you to realizing our dream of parenthood we simply love it!
