Dear Everyone at Lifetime,

Thank you all so much for making our dream come true. Joseph is a wonderful baby and we love him so much. We are having so much fun with him. We wanted to send you a picture of him that was taken right before Christmas. He just had his two month check up last week and is healthy! The doctor says he is going to be a big boy. He is still just on formula but it seems to be agreeing with him so far.

All of you and all of the staff at the hospital have been so helpful. We plan on going through Lifetime again. Thank you all! You will always be very important to us. When I would start getting frustrated you all would make me feel so much better. You were so right when you said the right baby will come along. We cannot imagine our lives without Joseph. He is an angel in every way and we love him so much. Thanks again and we will keep in touch.

Thank you for all you did for us in introducing us to our wonderful birthfamily and ultimately our miracle - Jonah! It is hard to believe that he is our son - what a great Christmas it was at our house this year. God is so faithful - and answered our prayers beyond what we even knew to ask for. Dear Lifetime families,

It is on my heart at this time to let you know that although this season may have been difficult for you as you wait, I think every family can relate to this waiting and not knowing. It is very hard, yet very worth it. I read somewhere that adoption is considered the "Road Less Traveled." Most of us don't intend on having to go this route, but it is as if we take a detour and end up taking a beautiful scenic route that we didn't know existed. The blessings are endless!!

Have courage during this time of waiting. Your baby is out there and every
good thing comes to those who wait. We had no idea last year in December that we would be matched in January with our Birthmother and that our baby would very soon be born. We have several friends who are waiting right now for their babies. I wear a prayer bracelet in their honor. We keep you, also, in our prayers.

Anna-Grace is now almost 9 months and we look at her with awe and can't believe that she is really with us this year. May God grant all of you Faith and Love and give you an extra measure of Hope for this next year 2006.

Marcianna Isabella is now a whole 18 months old. Can you believe it! She is the most intelligent, beautiful, wonderful, awesome little girl in the world ( a little bias maybe). What a blessing, we can't wait for our second Christmas with our daughter. We pray you all have a blessed Christmas and a wonderful New Year. We know we will! Again, we thank you all for your hand in our miracle. We can't begin to explain how much love there is for this precious baby girl.

Dear Coordinator and Lifetime Family,

What an amazing journey this past year has been, with many many thanks to you. We never dreamed it would turn out to be one of the happiest years of our lives. We eagerly anticipate celebrating our first Christmas with Corey. He is one of the sweetest babies we have ever known and has brought us so many joys and giggles. It brings me great joy to watch both of our sons play and love each other.

We have developed a close relationship with both sides of Corey's birthfamily and a much deeper understanding of open adoption. They are wonderful people -- they've given him roots and we've given him wings.
