Caleb is a Blessing From God!
Hi Veronica -
We are doing wonderful, enjoying every minute with sweet, baby Caleb. He is a delight to us in every way and we have no doubt he is THE one God had for our family.
The long wait was difficult, but God taught us so much about trusting Him and His ways and we are forever changed, to His glory. We are also so blessed to see how God continues to allow us the opportunity to maintain and grow in our relationship with Caleb's birthmother. Thank you so much for all you did to help bring Caleb into our family!
In Him,
Chris and Carrie

We Are So Lucky!
Dear Diane,
It's hard to believe that Noah will be six months old this week. I have no idea where the time has gone!
There really aren't adequate words to express how thankful and grateful we are to finally have become a family. We couldn't have done it without the services provided by Lifetime.
We truly believe that Noah was meant to be our son and wanted to thank everyone and also to encourage families like us. Our journey to parenthood was long and difficult, but our son Noah, was worth every bit of it. Through our disappointments, Diane encouraged us by reminding us that once we had our baby, we would not take a moment for granted. Her words could not have been more true. Not a day goes by that we don't feel blessed and grateful that we were chosen to parent such a wonderful boy.
We would never have become parents without Lifetime and we know that our son was truly meant to be our baby. We would like to encourage other waiting families never to loose faith. We especially want to encourage those of you who have been waiting, because in the end our wait was worth every minute.
Not only is Noah happy and healthy, but he is also one of the most gorgeous and happy babies I've ever seen.
We are so lucky and spoiled to have such a good baby!
(He's already had four arranged marriage offers at his school because he's such a charmer!) I could never have dreamed of a more perfect baby.
We are staying in touch with Noah's birthmother, and last week she sent us a letter that really touched our hearts. We've already put it in Noah's baby book.
She thanked us for being good parents, when she deserves all the thanks for placing her trust in us.
We can't wait to return to Lifetime in order to complete our family next year.
Love,
Tony, Stephanie, and Noah

Thanks Lifetime!
Hello!
We received word today that Alabama has approved all the necessary paperwork and we are cleared to come back home! We are all already so in love with Caleb. He had a check-up on Thursday morning and he has maintained his birth weight and is doing very well. He rarely ever fusses and is taking about 3 ounces of formula every 4 hours. He is more alert and active each day.
Thank you all so much for your prayers for us and for Caleb's birthmother and her family. I had an e-mail from Caleb's birthmother today that was titled "Good, good Friday!" She said she feels totally surrounded by God's peace and that He has put an excitement in her heart about the "new" things He is doing in her life (finishing college, new job, new ministry opportunities at her church). Please pray for safe travel for us as we head home and a continued peace for Caleb's birthmother and her family!
In Him,
Chris, Carrie, Joshua & baby Caleb

She is the Joy of Our Lives!
To our wonderful friends at Lifetime,
I have tried to write this letter at least a dozen times. But it's taken me almost 14 months to figure out the words of appreciation for the people who made our dreams of a family come true at last. Somehow a simple "Thank you" doesn't cover it. Even now, when over a year has passed, I still cannot believe the love and support your staff showed us through the whole adoption process. There were times when our journey was difficult and we didn't think we would ever survive the unforeseen twists and turns. But you ladies never let us give up hope and held our hands the whole way until our little miracle arrived just like you promised she would. Every time we look in the eyes of our beautiful baby girl, we are overcome with gratitude all over again.
Leilani is quite simply the joy of our lives. Being parents is so much more than we ever dreamed it would be. Every day with her is an adventure. She went from crawling to running around the house in the blink of an eye. She has a mouthful of teeth and talks up a storm to anyone who will listen. (I guess she's a lot like her mommy that way!) She has completely wrapped her daddy around her little finger and he has become the envy of all of his friends because he is such a happy stay at home dad. We laugh about the fact that we honestly cannot remember what our lives were like before our daughter came into our lives. Our world has been completely turned upside down and we couldn't be happier about it!
Every night before bed we say a prayer for our family, Leilani's wonderful birthmother, and the fabulous women at Lifetime who brought us all together. May God continue to bless you and the wonderful work you do.
Michael, Kelli, and Leilani

Madison is Two!
Hello Mardie and Lifetime Staff,
As we celebrated Madison's second birthday, our hearts were filled with such overwhelming gratitude to all of you at Lifetime Adoption for helping our dream of becoming parents come true. Our lives are richer and fuller than ever. We are blessed beyond measure. God truly brought us the child that was meant to be ours.
Maddie is a very happy toddler; she is always smiling or laughing. She is growing, talking, learning and loves to play with her dolls. We can't believe its been two years already. Wow! Everyone told us to cherish our time with her as a baby because it goes by fast and we are glad we listened. Maddie is ready to become a big sister and we look forward to starting the adoption process all over again.
There is a principle in the Word of God that what we make happen for others, God will make happen for us. So we pray that the dreams all of you at Lifetime have become a reality, just as you make so many dreams for others come true. Thank you so much for all you do every day in this adoption process.

Easter Blessings to Everyone!
Easter Blessings to everyone! It was a year ago that we began our journey through Lifetime Adoption as we began our journey leading us to Emaline. The first week of April we completed our adoption profiles and two surprising months later we received "the call" from our birthmother. A little over a month later Miss Emaline was born from within our hearts to our loving arms and family. We hold close to our hearts the true meaning of Easter as well as the special, lifetime blessing God bestowed upon our family through both Emaline and Connor. Never underestimate the winding roads you may travel...God always has His plan and reasons and we thank Him for every last road that led us to our children and birthfamilies!
We started our Easter celebrations a bit early by going on a Peter Cottontail Express Ride...this was a big deal for Connor and most definitely Emaline too!
Blessings and love to your family from ours,
Chad, Sarah, Connor, and Emaline

Our Dreams Have Finally Come True!
Sarah arrived on January 18th and we are ecstatic to have her home with us!
Our journey through the adoption process has been one of utter joy with trials along the way. Without Lifetime and our coordinator Diane we would not have found our beautiful daughter. The whole process has taught us to never give up even though some days may seem quite long as you are waiting for your baby to arrive.
We truly are grateful to everyone at Lifetime for their continued support and guidance throughout this process. Just remember that there is a baby out there for everyone who truly believes.
Sincerely,
Adam, Heather and Sarah |

Our Forever Family
To the dedicated staff at Lifetime:
Thank you so very much for the help, support, and guidance given to Kevin and I as we worked the amazing path of adoption. We have a family, something that seemed destined for others when we started. Wishing each of you our thanks and best wishes as you continue to help create forever families.
To our coordinator Veronica,
The words "thank you" seem so inadequate when we think of all your guidance and support as we have traveled through our adoption journey with both Rachel and now Grant. What an amazing experience and now we have a family to love and cherish for always. From hopeless to hope to joy!
Love,
Kevin and Karen

Thank you for the card. Katie Rose will love it when she wakes up from her nap.

Update from Nicholas and Teneeshia
Wow! It has been a while, but life has taken us through so many changes lately. We have finally gotten settled into our new home, here in North Pole, Alaska! Nick and I just purchased our first home, and little Nicholas is just loving it up! He has grown so much. He goes to daycare now, and he loves being around other children. I think it was harder for me to leave him, than it was for him to leave me. I cried the first day, while he tried to push me out of the door of the daycare! I can't believe he's almost two years old. Motherhood had truly been a blessing to me, and I am so greatful to the Lifetime Staff as well as my Birthmother and Birthfather...because without them, I would not be as blessed as I am today. We send our love to you all the way from the North Pole.

God Brought Us Together
Hi to our coordinator Lori,
We are back home now with our little boy and wanted to let you know that everything is going well.
Here is some info about our little guy...
Luke Owen
Born and lovingly placed
in our arms on February 16
7:10 p.m. in Kansas
7 lbs, 5 oz.
19.5 inches
Luke means "bringer of light" or "morning" - exactly what he is to our family. After a little bit of a rough start, he is healthy and doing wonderfully. It was so good to finally get home with our little boy! The entire experience has been exceedingly and abundantly above all we ever hoped or imagined. The time we got to spend with our birthmother was precious, and our little guy is utterly amazing. We look at him and can now see the purpose in the pain of the past five years. The moment we saw him, he somehow looked familiar and we instantly knew that he was the one we have been waiting for. There is no doubt that Luke was meant to be our son, and the only way we can explain the past five years of trying to build our family is that everything had to happen in exactly that way in order for God to bring us together in this most perfect and sovereign way.
Thank you again for all of your help! We are so grateful for the way God brought us to our son through Lifetime!
We'll be in touch,
Geoff & Merilee

Angel is Growing Fast!
Greetings from Japan,
Here's a picture of Angel sitting up on the couch. Just trying to get her into practice since she is growing so fast. She now weighs 16 lbs and 23 1/2 inches long. She is a happy baby, but always looking serious like her dad on the pictures.

I Am A Mommy!
Alexis Grace was born on Friday, February 2 at 11:51 am in Houston. Biomom and baby did great! Alexis Grace weighed six pounds and eleven ounces. She was 21 inches long with a full head of hair. By day three, she can down almost three ounces of formula in one sitting, so I think she'll be out of those newborn clothes fairly quickly!

Update from Lazaro, Deanna, and Matthew
Dear Diane,
It has been a long time since we have spoken. I was thinking about Lifetime just today when a friend was inquiring about the adoption process for herself. I must say we are so grateful for your support and caring during the adoption process. Words cannot express how happy we are with Matthew. Matthew is now five years old and loves golf, fishing, ice hockey, T-ball, and playing with his many friends. He is very intelligent and well-spoken. He is so cute that he makes hearts melt. Thank you for making families possible every day.
Best Wishes,
Deanna, Lazaro and Matthew

God is Good!
Hello Diane and our Lifetime Family,
Just wanted to write to say thank you for changing our lives for the better.
We have been blessed with a beautiful, loving, and adorable little boy who has been the light of our lives. I can not express with words how wonderful these last 13 months have been, but I can say GOD IS GOOD!
We experienced our first visit with Jaren's birthparents this past weekend, and I can not tell you what a life changing experience that was. The time spent and interaction was much easier than I could have anticipated. This is the true meaning of an extended family!
Thank you for all that you do for families like ours!
We love ya!

We Are Blessed with Twins!
Dear Lifetime family,
We are so blessed and thankful for all of your support as we journeyed through the adoption experience. It was truly a God thing and we could not think of a more joyous time. Our sons, Lemuel and Marcel are now seven months old and have brought such happiness to our entire family. We could not imagine not having them. The adoption is now final, my precious Christmas gift, and we couldn't have had a better experience. Their birthmother has kept in touch and we are glad that we have developed a friendship. Everything has been great. Having twins is better than any dream I could've had. Thank you for all you did to make our lives complete.
Best Wishes to you all,
Lynelle, Miguel, Lemuel, and Marcel

Update from Kenyatta
Kellington James is my hearts delight! I know he wishes I would stop snapping pictures of him, but I just can't help myself! God sent me the baby that I was supposed to have and I thank Him each and every day. What a blessing Lifetime is. All my searching led me to you all and it was all worth it! May God continue to bless you!

Thank You Lifetime!
We are very excited to finalize our adoption of Ashton and Sidney. We are hoping to finalize very soon. The kids are great and we love them. We could not have done it without the help of Lifetime and our great coordinator Libby Murray.
Thank you,

Happy New Year!
Ella is doing great. She's trying to talk a little bit. Loves to be on her back flapping her arms and legs around. Tummy time is a different story. Doesn't like it at all. We do it a little bit each day so she can learn to lift her head. She's started eating some solid foods. Loves the applesauce.
Talked to Ella's birthmother a couple of times in the last month. She says she'd like to come and visit sometime this month. I hope she can come. She will be so shocked when she see's how much Ella has changed.
