Get
Ready For That Call!
Words can never express the gratitude for our beautiful children. It
wasn't easy at first. We were so very anxious and waiting seemed impossible.
We were comforted and told that there is a child out there that would
fit our family.
Again, you may say or not say "How come it hasn't happened yet...why?" Then
you get the call, your heart beats like it has never beat before and
now you have your special angel, you breath in every part of this child...your
child. Your life is changed forever. You look back on the time and it
really wasn't that long. You just longed and ached to hold your baby.
Now that baby girl is three years and three months and the most precious
part of you. Then you get another call...oh boy...yes a "boy".
Again our hearts are pounding, we are on our way, and the same joy and
excitement as the first. Could this be possible? Yes it is! We enjoy
our two children extremely! They are so much fun, a lot of work, and
a lot of sleepless nights
So, new adoptive parents get rested up, enjoy some special
moments together, get the nursery ready to a point that
is comfortable, practice with the car seat, blankets,
head rest for inside car seat...and make a list so that
when the call comes you are ready.
It's 4:37 am and our little boy is having his bottle.
This is the best and you too will have your child. Good
luck!

Lifetime
Was Like Family To Us!
We first learned of Lifetime on the internet and really
loved their site. Their office was close so we went to
a seminar and felt immediately comfortable with Mardie
and her whole staff (who seem more like family!). They
do a fantastic job of working with all parties involved
with adoption.

Our
Perfect Dream!
It's hard to say that one staff member out shined another
because everyone is professional, efficient, friendly,
and supportive. If it wasn't for Lifetime, we wouldn't
be living our perfect dream of having a perfect adoption
journey and perfect family.

Thanks
Lifetime!
Both the coordinators that we worked with were wonderful
and added the 'extra touch' we needed as we were waiting
for "Mary Elizabeth". Each time I called each
staff member I spoke to was kind and offered us words
of encouragement. Lastly, the aspect that sets Lifetime
apart from others is the 'Spiritual' encouragement, which
plays a large role in our lives. God's work is truly
evident at Lifetime.
Thank you,
David and Sharon

What
A Wonderful Experience!
Here is our son Cooper. He is an absolute angel -- I
will write more later and share our wonderful open adoption
experience. Suffice to say that it was the most miraculous
event of our lives in many, many, ways.
Love,
Jason and Annette

What
A Whirlwind!
At last, here is a picture of our beautiful Sarah! Life
is finally settling down a bit after the whirlwind experience
we had. We truly appreciate your patience in those days
before her birth. Although we were anticipating a much
longer wait, we really believe she was meant to be with
us. All the things I had in common with her birthmother
were too coincidental to overlook.
Jenna loves her new baby sister and tries to help us
with her as much as an 18-month old can help). It's been
fun watching her interact with Sarah. Thank you also
for the gift for Sarah, it was adorable and very thoughtful.
It will forever be a reminder of the caring people who
helped bring us together.
Again, although it doesn't seem adequate, thank you
so much. We will keep all your families in our prayers.
Sincerely,
Greg and Paula

The
Wait Was Worth While!
Alex will be three months old next week and we are all doing great! You
were right about finding the "right" baby. Alex fits into our
family perfectly. He is quiet and calm and only cries when he really
needs something. Now he smiles and laughs too.
Alex's birthmom will be in town soon and we are planning to get together
for dinner one night. I want her to see how happy and healthy Alex is.
We were blessed to find the perfect baby and the perfect birthmother!
We send her pictures every month and we e-mail.
Our adoption may be finalized as early as next week.
Thank you again for everything you did for us. It was
so hard to wait for a baby, but now we know he was meant
for us.
Sincerely,
Kent and Lynda

Everything
Was So Quick!
Our experience with Lifetime was more than we could
have asked for! Everything happened so quickly for us,
we couldn't be happier. Our coordinator was incredibly
helpful to us as well!

In
Only Two Months!
Over a year ago when we first heard about you - we never would have dreamed
that only a couple of months after deciding to sign with you, we would
be at home holding our daughter. We are so thankful to our coordinator
and to all of the staff! Not only have we been blessed with the most
beautiful baby, we also have been blessed by knowing the birthmother
and her family. At first, we were not sure about the concept of open
adoption. Now, we are so thankful to have crossed Cayla's birthomother's
path. Through her we now have a wonderful little girl and we have
new and wonderful friendships with her and her family.
We look forward to our next adoption. In the meantime, we will promise
to send you updates and photos of our precious Cayla Rose.
Love Always and God bless each of you,
Justin, Christina, and Cayla

Biological
Brother and Sister; Two Different Adoptions!
We hope you are enjoying your summer. We just wanted to send an update
note to thank you again for all of the wonderful things you did for us
for the adoption of both Taylor & Jordan. Who would have thought
that when we started this journey with Lifetime back in December of 2001
that we would have such a truly special and blessed family with a new
daughter (April, 2002) and new son (January, 2003) in just 13 months!
Taylor & Jordan bring us great joy and happiness
each and every day. They have such a special relationship
already and I know they will find strength in one another
as they grow up as true biological siblings. Our adoption
story is so remarkable that we are the talk of our families
and friends - everyone is so happy for us. We get so
many questions & great comments - how did you do
it, how did it happen so quickly, I can't believe they
are 100% biological sister & brother. We certainly
love to brag up Lifetime!
Taylor is now 15 1/2 months old and she is such a sweet
little girl, and she sure keeps us busy chasing her around
now that she's walking (actually running most of the
time!). Jordan is 5 1/2 months old and what a beautiful
smile and disposition he has - we are so lucky to have
been blessed with two of the easiest and most joyful
kids we know.
Please pass along our thanks again to you & the
wonderful staff at Lifetime, you were so easy and pleasant
to work with (in the short time we spent together). You
made all our dreams come true. You will always hold a
special place in our family's heart!
God bless,
Eric, Karry, Taylor & Jordan

people in the world. Thank you from the bottom of our
hearts!

Dear
Friends and Family at Lifetime!
Sorry it has taken us so long to write, but we have
been busy enjoying our little bundle of love! We can't
thank you enough for bringing us together with our little
one. I can't even find the words to describe how much
we love him...each day with him is like discovering a
new, precious treasure.
Friends and family can't love on him enough and he has
been the talk of the town! We are savoring every minute
of his little life. He is growing so fast - he is already
13 lbs at seven weeks. He is a good eater and sleeper
(and snuggler)! He smiled for the first time on Father's
Day!
Thank
you also for the wonderful gift. We love it and
keep it in our diaper bag. We also love the stuffed
animal ~ he can almost grip and hold it. You
have all been so kind and so wonderful to work
with during this special time in our lives. Take
care and God bless each of you. Thanks again
for helping guide our sweet angel to us. We'll
be in touch soon.
Love,
Scott and Carrie
