I Love You
Through & Through
Howdy! Mark is growing so big! At 16 months he is 23 pounds, 14 ounces and 32.75 inches tall. And what a vocabulary! He chats up a storm and is learning more words every day. He loves to climb, and will climb anything and everything - be it chairs, coffee tables, or whatnot. He is a bundle of energy, and it is so much fun keeping up with him. We have him in squeaky shoes most days (and he loves them so much he asks for them) so that we can hear where he is at all times and what he might be getting into. It's so much fun!
His birthparents are doing well. We hear from them via email every other month or so. They surprised us a few months ago with some belated birthday gifts for Mark. He really enjoyed them, and it was so sweet of them to do that. We are so thankful for them, and for y'all for getting us together.
Mark is such a joy in ours, and many others', lives. He is such a happy kid and we are so blessed that he is our son. We still, even after 16 months, pinch ourselves periodically that he is here and is our son. We can't imagine life without him either. He is just such a wonderful kid.
We read "I Love You Through And Through" to him every night. So much that we have the book memorized and he points and acts out the words as we read them. And as the book ends, it summarizes our sentiments exactly: we love him "through and through, yesterday, today and tomorrow too."

What a Guy!
Hey Libby and Veronica,
I always love to hear from you. Mother's Day is coming up and for the first time in years I am not dreading it. I remember getting a card from y'all last year offering encouragement. And I just sat and cried. Mother's Day and Father's Day were always the hardest. What a difference a year makes. Almost exactly a year ago that we sent our contract to Lifetime, and our baby boy just turned three months old. It's just amazing. Lifetime Adoption is my soapbox! I tell everyone about y'all.
Hayes got to go to the ballpark tonight for the first time. Baseball season has started and we go to watch our nephews and nieces every chance we get. He was quite the little celebrity, I must say. Everyone stopped to see Hayes and hold him and love on him. I'm glad he's a little "people person" because he definitely has a fan base! Here's picture of him on his daddy tonight at the ballpark. He doesn't like to be held facing you, he wants to be facing out. So, he always rides on Chris' belly. My sister says that Hayes doesn't even know he's being held...he thinks he' s just flying everywhere he goes. He is so spoiled!
He's growing so fast. He rolled over today for the first time and is doing something new every day. Time has gotten away from me as this new little man in my house has completely taken over!
It was great hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Adele |

God Is Faithful
We are so thankful to God and all of you at Lifetime for helping bring Owen into our family. The years of struggling with infertility and the process of patiently waiting to be matched with a birthmother seem like a distant memory as we now hold this precious little boy in our arms. Our entire church family has also taken quite a liking to him, as he is an answer to their prayers as well. Looking back, we can see how faithful God has been to us, and we celebrate the blessing and opportunity to raise Owen.

A Heart to Call Home
Jordan is more beautiful than we could have ever imagined! We are so completely in love with him - and some how, some way Jordan has Jason's exact nose!
Jordan's birthmother also loves him very much - so much that she is willing to give him the life she cannot provide, with the hope that he will be cherished and have many opportunities, including an education and travel experiences that we are providing for our son Ty. She is a strong woman and we have come to care about her very much. She has given us a blessed gift! We feel very blessed to have this baby boy and to have met her. No matter how many times we say it, we could never thank her for the miracle she has placed in our care. Having been through this experience, we can say that it has changed our lives and our hearts forever.

God Brought Us Together
Dear Lifetime,
God is so wonderful! And how blessed you must feel to be a part of His ministry! He has blessed our lives with the miracle of adoption twice now: with a beautiful girl Aleigha Danielle, and now our handsome son, Andrew William. We are very proud parents! When going through ten years of infertility treatments, and trying so hard to have a child of your own, it's kind of hard to understand, but when God's plan for your family perfectly unfolds in your life, you just look back and say "God is so awesome!"
We are glad that God chose adoption for our family. I never get tired of telling the story of our adoption process, and how the miracle still amazes us!
Thank you so much for your time and helping us find our forever family!

A Blessed Meeting
Hi Diane,
We went to Florida for spring break this year and met up with our birth mom.
It was the first time she'd seen Haley in 17 months. All of us were looking forward to the visit and it went very well. We planned to meet for a couple of hours in the hotel lobby and have breakfast together before we drove to our vacation destination. Since the hotel was very large, the lobby had multiple seating areas for Haley to explore and for her birth mom to see how big she's gotten and how happy she is. We took many pictures and tried to prolong every minute of our short visit. Haley also had the opportunity to get reacquainted and play with her half-sister, who is 11 years old. It was a tearful goodbye and a somber day afterwards, but we were so glad we did it. If our birth mom wants to, we will visit again in the future.

Proud Lifetime Grandparents!
Connor and Emaline have proud Lifetime grandparents! Life is about their grandchildren and are very, very proud we started and grew our family through Lifetime. They use their vacation from work to come and visit their grandchildren and Easter weekend was no exception. We know the special place grandparents forever hold in our hearts!
Thank you for all you have done in bringing our family together and all that you did for our birthmothers. We take great pride in having you in our family circle.
Much love to Mardie and all at Lifetime,
Sarah, Chad, Connor, and Emaline |

A Match Made in Heaven
Hi Veronica,
How quickly time passes! Malia is now six weeks old and she is doing just great! We could not have been matched up with a more perfect little angel; she captured our hearts from day one and we are enjoying every minute with her!
We keep in touch with her birthmom and she seems to be doing well. She holds a very special place in our hearts and we are so grateful we have had the opportunity to get to know her.
Warmly,
Janice & Erasmus |

Happy Spring!
Hope this finds your families doing well and enjoying the beautiful spring season!
Ty saw the Easter Bunny this year and of course, loved the Easter egg hunts and activities. Ty has been quite busy mastering his “Big Boy Bike" so he can eventually take off the training wheels. During this time of the year, we are at the park until the sun goes down, needless to say, we stay busy! Ty is also practicing baseball more often, he can actually hit a ball that is pitched to him now! Watch out! Last but not least, Ty (aka: The Fish) is still swimming and improving every lesson. He has starting taking pop-up breathes on his own and is getting more comfortable floating now.
Take care and enjoy the season!
Love,
Scott & Shelly |

We Cherish Each Moment
Hello Veronica,
Gabby now weighs 11 pounds now and her pediatrician said that she is very advanced developmentally for her age; she recognizes both of us, she is smiling and laughing in response to being talked to and played with, she follows you with her eyes as you move throughout the room and if she could get the words out, she would be talking already! She is very very strong, and is holding her head up like she is six months old and trying to sit forward on her own!
She is actually teething a little bit, discovering her hands, babbling up a storm and she loves watching TV. In addition to a thousand and one great developmental shows, there are programs that expose her to the Spanish language and we speak to her consistently in Spanish and in English. No better time than now to help teach her another language!
We are in awe of everything about her and she is probably one of the most photographed and videotaped babies out there! Every day, we are amazed at something new that she is doing. Her newest “thing” is pretending to be shy and laying her head down on my shoulder when someone talks to her, all the while showing them her absolutely beautiful smile. She is a true joy and we can’t get enough of her.
We are all so in love with her and tell everyone that every single thing about her is perfect, beautiful and blessed and we cherish every single moment of our lives with her.

Live, Love, Laugh
Hi Veronica and Diane,
We just wanted to send you an update on our beautiful little Abigail! She is already seven months old - time is just flying by! Abbi has the greatest personality. She loves to be silly and laughs a lot. She has learned to say her name and "Mama." We are working on "Dada." Thanks again everyone for your love and support, and most of all for Abigail!

Life is Sweet
We just want to thank everyone there at Lifetime that has worked with us throughout this whole adoption journey. We have experienced many different emotions during this process and there were times that we felt like we would never make it to this point! But looking back now, we know that every experience was necessary in order to be blessed with our baby girl!
Now that she is here, we can't imagine what life was like without her! Not only did we get a wonderful baby girl, we have the most wonderful birth mother that anyone could have asked for!! Nothing could be sweeter! We are truly blessed!

Our Little Miracles
They grow up way too fast!!! Hayden is just the sweetest thing and loves her "Bubba."
She's started talking (a lot of it's just jibber jabber) and is a little chatter box.
Her big brother Hudson's doing well. Can't believe he is finishing up second grade. He is so smart! Both of them are just our little miracles.
Hope you guys have a fantastic Easter!
