Newly Adopted Lifetime Children

Jordan and Matthew are a blessing

You Are Not Forgotten

To Jordan and Matthew's birthmother,

It has been quite a year!  I have been able to meet the bus Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and Dave on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  We know most working parents don't get this opportunity so we are incredibly grateful for our flexible schedules. It has also allowed us to keep life structured and help with homework.

Matthew loves to read and is great at math. He has had a great time in first grade with all sort of events - science projects, gingerbread houses (Dave helped the class with that one), Holiday Concert - he was in the choir, he was the first to read a book to the class, Valentine's party (got lots of sweet notes), and a Easter egg hunt and picnic coming up and he is excited.  He also played baseball in the fall and was really good - and I am not just saying that because I am proud.  He has a great arm and can hit the ball well.  He is going to play soccer again this spring and basketball this summer.  He has grown soooo much.

Jordan is doing well in third grade.  He was the lead narrator in his class play and did a fantastic job.  He has a strong memory. He has two big obsessions FOOTBALL (always on his mind) and singing.  We are getting him guitar lessons. He already broke a string on his guitar "tuning it."  He just started running club which is once a week in the morning.  He is hoping his running will help when he starts football...which is in August.  He is going to play spring soccer as well.

Most importantly, we have not forgotten you.  Both boys continue to tell stories about their other mom.  And we continue to tell them how much love you have for them and how God has a plan and it was for them to be our children.  For Christmas, we got Jordan the Rascal Flats CD with "My wish for you."   He was thrilled.

Fondly,

Treacy and Dave

Jessa has made Nick and Kim's home complete!

Lifetime Helped Our Dream Come True

WOW, what a ride waiting for our perfect angel!!! But she has arrived and is perfect!!! We are so in love with our little girl and she has made our home complete!!  We are so glad God directed us to Lifetime who helped us make our dream come true of being a Mommy and Daddy!!!

We are so excited to have our first Mother's Day for Kim with Jessa, (Daddy has been helping her shop for Mommy). We now enjoy playing on her new playground in her sand box and her playhouse that Daddy just finished for her. It even has a porch she can sit on and call to the doggies. Jessa is the happiest little girl we know and is constantly giving us hugs and kisses; just this week she looked up to Kim and said "Mommy Jessa Happy" and that made our world.

Jessa loves going to church with us now and has already started her singing career and gets up with a little boy there and sings "Jesus Loves Me."  We have so many plans and dreams for her and look forward to living life with our forever daughter.

Thanks again Lori and Lifetime!!!

Sandy loves the Wii game that she received for Christmas!

Winter Wonderland

We had some fun in the snow at grandma's this year!  Sandy spent hours making cards for all her new cousins. She's very generous and giving! She got the Wii game for Christmas and takes Wii tennis matches very seriously.

Jessa's adoption finalization

Happiness Is...

Dear Lori and Lifetime Staff,

Jessa is finally finalized and we are so thrilled. She is so full of hugs and kisses. We are constantly getting a hug or kiss from her. She loves to sing; she even sings in Wal-Mart while we are grocery shopping. We are hoping to start her in Kinder music in the fall. She is the happiest little girl we know; she wakes up happy and goes to bed happy. She has adjusted with us just as if she had been with us her whole life. The last five months have been such a blessing. We could not imagine life without her. We love her so much! Thanks to you and all the staff we have our forever family. It's even better than we could have ever imagined.

Love,
Nick, Kim, and Jessa
