Heather Featherston
Director of Adoptive Family Services

As the Director of Adoptive Family Services at Lifetime Adoption Center, Heather oversees the coordination of services for thousands of clients nationwide. She also manages Lifetime's online presence.

Featherston has spoken to professional groups, conducted trainings for birth parent advocates, and has made television and radio appearances discussing various aspects of adoption. She has supported, one-on-one, couples working through adoption decisions and discerning the Lord's will. As an adoption professional, Featherston is in awe of seeing God's hand at work each day, guiding children and families together through adoption.

Since coming to Lifetime, Heather has been involved in many adoptions, but her most memorable occurred on Memorial Day. "I got a call from the hospital with a new situation, and had to get a family there in four hours," she says. "Because it was a major holiday, I thought this was going to be a challenge. But the first family I called was home and hopped in their car, arriving in under three hours. The amazing thing is that just the day before, this family was called on another immediate situation that fell through just as they arrived to pick up the baby. Yet somehow they did find the right one before the weekend was over!"

Heather's most rewarding job is that of mother to two boys. She and her husband enjoy spending their days fishing, golfing, and Lego-building with their boys.
